Christmas in a Box
£99.00
A selection of wines to take you through Christmas Day: celebratory fizz; a crisp 'starter' white; a white & red just made for turkey or goose; a bold red; a bottle of tip-top port for the cheese board!
Classic Cuvee, Brut NV, Three Choirs Estate
Made the same way as Champagne; deliciously crisp and fresh with real complexity, this has won multiple awards including SWA Gold in 2020. Perfect aperitif, or pairing for smoked salmon.
Vinho Verde Azevedo
Vibrant citrus on the nose, with fresh grapefuit and lemon characteristics. The palate is dry and well-rounded, with juicy ripe pear, apricot and melon and fresh acidity.
Chardonnay Les Cotilles, Domaine Roux
Tasted blind you would swear this came from the Cotes de Beaune...this golden wine has texture, complex aromas of rose, honeysuckle and citrus and a silky, rich but fresh palate. Stunning wine
Pinot Noir Villa Des Croix
Made in the Var region, by a legendary Burgundy house, this is what red Burgundy should be but is often not: summer fruits over silky tannins, very classy & elegant.
Chateau Brande Bergere, Bordeaux
Punches way above its price, packed full of fruit and charm, with excellent balance and impressive concentration. Skilfully combines richness on entry and freshness on exit. Sweet Merlot dominates but there is structure too.
Quinta De La Rosa 2018 LBV Port (50cl)
Very fresh, young and vibrant fruit. A beautiful port, full of round, soft flavours but with an optimal structure giving this LBV tension and elegance. Essential for the cheese board, but also at home with most chocolate or fruit desserts.
Case of six £99 (Price if bought separately £104.91)
